Modification of Orders
Generally, upon establishing a "change in circumstances" either parent may seek to modify an existing court order. Whether a particular event qualifies as a change in circumstances is a matter for court determination. Recently it has been held that with respect to spousal support, a court order terminating child support does not constitute a change in circumstances warranting an increase in spousal support.
